# Crews

> Boost with a crew in Boosting Creator: the leader invites nearby players from the laptop, the crew shares every contract, the pay is split with a bonus.

Players can boost together. A **crew** is a leader and the players who accepted their invite: it queues as one and shares every contract the leader accepts.

## Making a crew

1. The leader opens the laptop and goes to the **Crew** tab. Players within 10 m show up in the list.
2. The leader invites them. The invite lasts 60 seconds.
3. The invited player accepts from their own laptop. From now on the leader queues for them.

The leader can't invite while a contract is running. The crew ends when the leader disbands it or leaves.

## During a contract

Every member can steal the car, drive it, hack the tracker, deliver it and strip it at a chop shop. The objective card and the map are the same for everyone.

Offers follow the leader's reputation.

With **Bigger crews face more** on, a bigger crew faces more: one more guard for every member past the first (up to 6), and one more chasing car from 3 members (up to 3), on classes that have them.

## Pay and reputation

The pay grows with the crew and is split in equal parts:

```text theme={null}
total = pay × (1 + bonus % × (members − 1))
share = total ÷ members
```

With the default bonus of 50 %, a 10,000 contract done by 2 players pays 15,000 in total, 7,500 each. The offer shows each member's share.

Every member gets the reputation of the class, the contract in their history and their own wait before the next contract.

## Settings

In **Settings > Contracts**, section **Crew**:

| Setting | Default |
| - | - |
| Crews | on. Off, the laptop has no Crew tab and everyone boosts alone |
| Largest crew, leader included | 4 players (2 to 4) |
| Extra pay per member past the first | 50 % |
| Bigger crews face more | on |

The **Live** tab of the panel lists the members of every crew contract.
